Mirk runs the same method, sized down for your bathroom counter. It removes plaque and buildup without scratching, warping, or breaking down the plastic your orthodontist took months to shape.
What Mirk can clean
Mirk is built for the appliances people actually wear: clear aligners, retainers (including the ones with metal wires), night guards, bite guards, sleep appliances, dentures, and toothbrush heads. If it goes in your mouth and comes out plastic — Mirk handles it.
Why Mirk doesn't use UV
UV light can't clean through cloudy water. Any film, any debris, any shadow on the surface — and the light doesn't reach what it's supposed to clean. So you end up with sterilised buildup, still stuck to the plastic.
Ultrasonic doesn't have that problem. It works on contact, across the whole surface, including the grooves a brush can't reach.
